| Basic Plot - Spoiler:
It is present time and around the world students from different colleges have been offered a chance of a life-time in which to partake in going to a University that is meant for the luckiest students of them all. There are five Colleges/Universities selected in the whole world and from each one two students get transferred by boat or Plane to the "university" otherwise known as the Island run by Unger Inc. Students are led to believe that they're chosen and research can be made on the "University" and due to the Unger Inc. They have successfully created sites and other "proof" that the "university" is "real".
Unger Inc. - Spoiler:
Unger Inc. is ran by Mason Unger whom started it when he turned eighteen. Mason was interested in behavioural issues in people when it came to giving them the best time of their lives to them having the worse time of their lives. The way he could have the Island manipulated to something he wanted to happen and start learning more about humans was incredible. The incorporation was meant to successfully create better science and medical technologies. If he could create and build things on the Island and test it out on people until it successfully worked, he could potentially bring a whole new meaning to the Science and Medical Fields.
