Born to a family specializing in sand bending, Charan is a feisty young earth bender out for childish trouble. He's a prankster and a joker, easily amused.
He is also skilled in theft, but he never robs big things, no - he has standards, and doesnt like breaking big laws. He steals things like food and apples, and very small amounts of money someone wouldnt notice would be missing because it would only be a few coins.
The biggest thing hes stolen, though, was his ride to Republic city. Tired of an abusive father, he hijacked someones ostrich horse, whom he named Bipin, and rode off. Throughout the journey form his original tribe to Republic city, him and Bipin bonded. He also used his time to sharpen his bending skills. He is best as sand bending, but is also pretty good at regular earth bending, but not nearly as well as he uses sand. He mainly uses normal bending as ways of transportation and ways of escape rather than fighting. When needing to fight, he uses sand.
This boy is flexible and fast on his feet, a little runner. He has a skill in parkour and enjoys climbing and jumping and using difficult things as his way around the world. There is nothing impossible in his view, and he is well known today around the city as a little rascal. Hes well known as the citys trouble masking kid, as he is only about 11 or so years old, stuck in the middle of beign mature for his age but also at the same time incredibly not so.

He lives on his own in a shack sloppily made of rock he bent himself in the middle of town, and when hes not out racking havoc, he likes to sit and eat and relax with his beloved ostrich horse.
